Pet insurance is often put on the back burner while pets are fit and healthy and only need to go to the vet for their yearly check-up and the odd minor problem.

But the day may come when your pet needs the unexpected emergency care or an expensive procedure and then it is too late to consider the benefits of pet insurance.

Don’t be caught unprepared as pet insurance is definitely worth your consideration.

Below a few options for you to look at:

One Plan

Pets must be older than 8 weeks and younger than 9 years. Prices and benefits are effective from the 1st of March 2020.

One Plan is administered by One Plan Underwriting Managers (PTY) Ltd an authorised financial services provider 43628. One Plan is not a Medical Aid Scheme but a short-term insurance product underwritten by Bryte Insurance Company Limited.

Ensures pets from 8 weeks to 20 years.

Petsure (Absolute Pets)

If you get cover for your pet while they are between the ages of 8 weeks and 8 years they will be covered for life. For example, if you get insurance for your pet when they are 7 years old, they will still be covered after they turn 8 years old and for as long as you are paying your premiums.
